MAY 24, 2016 - Captain James Schlegel

The coho salmon have arrived here in Sheboygan. We caught everything but a brown trout this morning. We fished in 60 to 100 feet of water off the power plant. Our best action was using a variety of smaller dodger flies behing divers and planner boards. These fish just started showing up here in record numbers. Nows a great time to start planning your Lake Michigan charter fishing adventure.

The coho salmon are still active here in Sheboygan. Caught a variety of cohos, kings and rainbows today while fishing between the commercial fishing nets south of town in 80 to 130 foot of water. Some of the best fishing action this year.

The Memorial weekend fishing is still going strong with a combination of rainbows, coho and king salmon. We've been fishing sunrise to sunset the past few days. Now is the time to plan your Lake Michigan charter fishing adventure.

JUNE 4, 2016 - Captain James Schlegel

Still great fishing here in Sheboygan. We are now fishing offshore in 120 to 200 feet of water. Catching mostly coho salmon but also catching a few king salmon and rainbow trout. This is one of the best starts to a fishing season I've witnessed in 33 years as a fishing guide here in Sheboygan.

Still great coho salmon fishing here in Sheboygan. We are now fishing offshore in 140 to 190 feet of water straight out of our harbor. Catching mostly coho salmon today and 2 rainbow trout.

Another great middle of the day 40 fish coho salmon beat down. There's no hotter port on lake Michigan than Sheboygan right now. We are still fishing offshore in 100 to 140 feet of water straight out of our harbor. Absolutly the best start to any fishing season to date.

Another great 3 hour limit of king salmon this morning. Also caught a couple of coho salmon and brown trout. Fished right outside the harbor this morning using standard spoons on downriggers and diver rods. We enjoyed fishing with this group who has fished with us for several years. Best start to any fishing season I can remember. This is the year to plan your Lake Michigan charter fishing adventure.

Another nice catch from some returning guests this morning. Fished in 50 feet of water south of town. I appologize for the lack of reports. At this time of year we are fishing every day, and generally from sunrise to sunset. It's been a busy and productive season.
